It's only been... the entire game... but look, Yasu died in week 3, okay, it's not (totally) his fault.
Still, he does make it a point to go out of his way to find Ion, giving him a warm smile whenever he tracks him down.]

Okita-kun makes it kind of difficult to look out for him. Maybe I should be apologizing instead... [A PUNK TO THE VERY END, even for his own master.]

It's all right. I would have tried to watch over him regardless, and he did at least say to me after the first time that he would inform me before doing anything reckless...
I thought I might not have been doing enough, or I was too distant-- but perhaps in reality I should be glad I managed to get that much at all from him?
[ because he thinks he gets it, the whole. sitting back and doing nothing not sitting well despite being terminally ill, thing. not wanting your illness to define you or what you can still do. ]
