Yamato's currently on Day 5 of moping at home and neglecting all responsibilities besides kendo. In a spur of the moment decision, he'd called to take some time off work, but he's already regretting the loss of a distraction. And between the cause (more or less) of his fight with Kashuu and the memories and experiences he's been plagued with, filling his days with kendo hasn't worked at all.

Ryusei is not actually the last person on the planet he wants to be talking to, but he groans when he sees who the message is from anyway. Ugh. Ugh.-]

You know you're just walking with your friend outside and this bear comes out. You can go back but you don't want to so you have to fight or find another way.

Normally Yamato would say so, try and think up something passive-aggressive about Ryusei being a stubborn blockhead (says Yamato, l o l), but he just doesn't have the energy right now. He hasn't had too many horribly big fights with Kashuu, but they always leave him feeling depressed and drained, and he isn't in the mood to pick a fight with somebody else.]

but if I had to go forward right at it instead of finding another way around and it was roaring at me and rearing or something then yeah, I'd probably attack first

Yamato's busy lying around and moping, so he really couldn't care less how long Ryusei takes to reply (he doesn't even care that much about the reason, truthfully, because right now it's hard to care about much of anything). When he finally gets the other reply, though, he makes a face.]

You're probably the lamest person I've dreamt about in awhile, though.

( Just ordinary dreams that don't really make any sense... this one felt different from his other dreams,
though. Everything was really vivid and clear and he woke up still feeling it-- the air, the relief, the bear's breath, the setting sun.... He's never had a dream stick with him after waking up like that.

Yamato can probably see Ryusei typing up another response. It takes awhile and really, he debates asking and getting involved but if Kiyomitsu was going through weird things then what if Yamato was too? )

(That awkward moment when you're concerned for someone you don't really talk to anymore. Now he has to fumble through the acts of caring without sounding too concerned or invested (because he isn't!!!). He can't ignore it though... whether they get along now or not, they had a history together that went back.)
