week 1, post-trial - Tiger

[This time, he seeks her out on purpose.

His deepest desires haven't changed--all he really wants, at the end of the day, is to protect Okita by any means necessary. But she's already shown she's unwilling to reveal too many details about this situation, at least for now, and contrary to popular belief, Yasusada does know when pushing too much will only backfire.

So while he does have questions he's hoping she'll be able to answer, at first, he mostly focuses on trying to find her door once again. He's got a cup of tea in hand and everything--he'd been very careful in making it, so while it may not be the most delicious thing in the world, it's at least not, y'know. Poison. Or the flavor equivalent.]

Tora-kun...? Are you there?

Oh, yes, come in.

[She's in her throne room right now, the Dragon's seat empty beside her--but she's effectively still on duty, so there's just no resting for her today. Still, Yams is cute, so she smiles as she sees him.]

What can I do for you this evening?

[It's clear from his face that he's tired; last week was a lot, too, but this trial took a far greater toll on him emotionally. Still, he offers her a small smile in return, holding out the cup.]

I thought you might like some tea. You were there with us all day. [And even if she didn't join the strip search, she must've been cold too.]

Aren't you just so sweet.

[She practically coos at him as she beckons for him to come forward.]

I'm not used to anyone bringing me anything.

[His steps are slow, but not exactly hesitant, as he obediently moves closer and holds out the cup for her to take.]

I imagine most people here don't like you and Ryuu-kun very much. [He says it in an idle, curious tone--and admittedly, he himself is still on the fence, but probably for different reasons than many others.]

No...but I'm used to people liking her more.

[She takes the teacup, and if she doesn't like it, she doesn't make any indication of displeasure as she sips from it daintily.]

Even though I'm the only one of us who actually tries.

[He watches for a moment, and when she doesn't immediately spit it back out, he relaxes a little. Maybe he can make some tea for Okita...!

That really is surprising, though. He knows Rapunzel doesn't like Tiger, but he doesn't know why anyone would like Dragon, with how cold she seems.]

[She knows it doesn't seem like it sometimes--that she has a funny way of showing it, but that's just her way. She can't help it!]

Yasusada doesn't say that, though, because of course he doesn't. He just nods.]

I believe you.

[And he really does, despite knowing that doing so is probably a bad idea. He's not necessarily happy with her, not after what he'd learned about Okita's task, but he has no proof that she was the one to put that burden on his shoulders. He can't say with confidence that Dragon did it, either, and truthfully, he still thinks there's more at play here than what they've seen.

He wouldn't even know how to begin unraveling that mystery, though. So instead, he just tilts his head.]
