week 1, day 2 - 2B

[They haven't had many chances to speak, but after everything that happened last week, Yasusada makes it a point to seek out 2B whenever they both have a moment.

He's got one hand resting on his sword when he greets her, like always, but it's a casual thing, like someone else might stick their hands in their pockets. He offers her a smile as he approaches, subdued but still friendly.]

Is that... your "sword body"?

[It takes him a second to realize what she's talking about, given that he can't follow her gaze.]

Oh, this? Yes, this is my real body. [He removes it from its place at his hip, holding it out for her examine, if she wants. The crest matches the ones on his hand covers, though his long sleeves tend to obscure them.]

[ it's still an extremely confusing concept to her, but... she supposes she understands, as she takes the sword and unsheathes it. she doesn't take it out fully, because that's both disrespectful and threatening; both things she doesn't want to be. still, she can get a good look at the blade, turning it over in her hands and nodding. even just holding it is comforting, even though it's not her own. ]

I think... I'm starting to understand what you mean. About this being your "true body."

[Even with his connection--muted, or severed, or whatever they've done to it, he still jumps a little, as though expecting to feel her touch. He catches himself quickly, but not quickly enough to hide that he'd done it (though he likely wouldn't have tried).]

Really? [He makes a soft, thoughtful sound, before admitting--] It feels... strange. To only feel things through this body right now. I don't like it very much.
